Terms of service

COT Intelligence turns the CFTC Commitments of Traders reports (Legacy, Futures Only) into positioning metrics, scores and pair biases for currency futures. It is operated by Purity Sites.

It is an educational tool, not financial advice. Nothing on the site is a recommendation to buy or sell anything. The scores and biases are mechanical readings of published positioning data. They can be wrong, late or misleading, and positioning alone does not predict price. You alone decide your trades and carry their risk. Trading currencies and futures can lose you more than you put in.

Positioning data comes from the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission and price data from the European Central Bank reference rates. We are not affiliated with either. We check the data on every update, but we cannot guarantee it is complete, correct or on time. CFTC releases can be delayed by holidays or government shutdowns.

• You need a valid email address. One account per person.
• Keep your password private. You are responsible for activity on your account.
• Don't scrape, resell or redistribute the service or its output, and don't try to get around the plan limits.

We may suspend an account that breaks these terms. If we close a paid account without a breach on your side, we refund the unused part of the paid period.

• New accounts get 7 days of full access. No payment details are needed for the trial.
• After the trial, the free view runs 2 reports behind and some features are locked.
• Pro is paid in advance for a month or a year, by card (USD) or mobile money (UGX), through Pesapal. Prices are shown on the pricing page before you pay.
• Nothing renews automatically. We never store your card or wallet details and never charge you without you starting a payment. Paying again extends Pro from the later of today and your current end date.
• Refunds follow the refund policy.

We may change prices for future payments. A change never affects a period you have already paid for.

We aim to keep the service running and updated each week, but we don't promise it will always be available or error-free. We may change, add or remove features. If we stop the service entirely, we refund the unused part of any paid period.

To the extent the law allows, the service is provided "as is". Purity Sites is not liable for trading losses or any indirect loss from using or relying on the service. Our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be waived.

If we change these terms we update the date at the top. For a material change we email account holders before it takes effect. Using the service after that means you accept the new terms.
